Introduction

Milburn Village Hall exterior

A recent major refurbishment has revitalised the Hall which has been serving Milburn village since 1912. The Hall Committee is keen to see the new facilities fully used and actively promotes bookings by groups both within the village of Milburn and within the wider community. Hire charges have been set at an extremely competitive level.

The Hall Committee gratefully acknowledges the grant from the English National Lottery Community Fund that paid for the refurbishment and the recent grant from Eden District Council that paid for new chairs.

The Village Hall is situated about 200 metres south-east of the green on the Appleby road. For GPS navigation purposes its postcode is CA101TL. There is a disabled sparking pace immediately in front of the Hall and a small number of spaces adjacent to this. It is generally possible to park on the green itself however. At night it may be advisable to bring a torch.
